What Speeds Can I Expect?
Amnet's Enabled ADSL Broadband 2+ plans are our super fast broadband
plans delivered on our own network via the latest broadband standards.
Our Non-Enabled ADSL Broadband plans use ADSL Broadband 1 technology with speeds from
256kbps/56kbps up to 8mbps/384kbps.
Our ADSL Broadband 2+ plans will give you a more responsive and
satisfying online experience with download speeds typically much faster
than standard ADSL Broadband 1. The majority of our ADSL Broadband 2+
customers experience speeds in excess of 10mbps with a small percentage
experiencing speeds over 20mbps, and up to 24mbps.
Our customers on ADSL Broadband 1 up to 8Mb plans experience speeds ranging from 1.5mbps/256kbps to 8mbps/384kbps.
As broadband speeds vary from one customer to another, we use "up
to" to describe our plans. The speeds available to a particular
customer can be affected by significant amounts due to factors outside
our control, such as your distance from the exchange, phone line
quality and hardware. While we cannot guarantee that you will receive
a particular speed, you will automatically receive the maximum speed
supported on your line.
